After many unsuccessful attempts that earned them the nickname “Neverkusen,” Bayer Leverkusen finally won their first ever German league title and the season ended dramatically. Currently 5^th placed with 4 points behind Atletico Madrid, Athletic Bilbao will push for this win to cling the gap to 1 point prior to Atletico’s game this weekend.
