After not winning any of the 2 opening Bundesliga fixtures, Bayer Leverkusen sacked their manager Erick Ten Hag and here they come up against a Frankfurt side that have attained maximum points from their 1st two games making them sit 2nd on the log. At Bay Arena today, I expect an end-to-end game with at least a goal from each side. Bayer Leverkusen have won all their last 3 head-to head meetings with Frankfurt.
Prior to the International break, Sevilla was boosted with a Girona win away from home. Coming into this fixture at home, I see them not giving away 3 points and goals won’t exceed 3 in this game as both still have issues with their forward lines’ consistency. Sevilla have won 2/3 last head-to-head meetings with Girona. Girona only managed to get a draw. 2/3 of their last 3 meetings have also seen U2.5 goals and non saw Over 3.5 goals.
After Arsenal’s defeat against Liverpool last week but one before the international break, I expect them to come back stronger to push for 3 points if they are to be in the title race. Nottingham quite a stubborn one but I expect the Gunners to edge them at the Emirates stadium.
Here comes another London derby on match day 4 after West Ham was recently humiliated by Chelsea on match day 2. I expect an end-to-end game with both sides scoring goals. Let us go for Yes and O2.5 goals. All their last 4 head-to-head meetings have seen both teams’ score.
Juventus have so far acquired 2/2 wins from their opening 2 games which has seen them sit 2nd on the log. I expect a very tight one as both are Italian Serie A giants but I do not see the home team losing following their current form.
After a very bright start to the new season with a 100% record after 3 matches, Real Madrid’s manager was voted as La Liga manager of the month. I see this as enough motivation to push their league lead further following Barcelona’s point drop to trail them by 2 points. A win for Madrid is a sure deal.
Liverpool still unbeaten with maximum points leading the league will visit Turf Moor with enough confidence to attain 3 points. I expect a game with less goals but Liverpool with slightly edge the hosts basing on pedigree.
Here comes the Manchester Derby on match day 4 as both sides try to gain momentum this season. Manchester City have so far lost 2 games as United have lost 1. I expect a kind of conservative game but given both have poor defensive lines, I see a couple of goals going in. Let us try O2.5 goals. 4/5 of their last head-to-head meetings have seen more than 3 goals.
In attempt to revive their old league glory this season, AC Milan are not yet up there having already lost ½ games they have played this season. I expect an end-to-end game as both sides are really offensive and feel they can defeat each other. Expect no conservative game whenever these to play. All their last 3 Serie A meetings have seen both teams score with Over 2.5 goals.
Having already dropped 2 points this season from the opening 3 games, I do not see Barcelona dropping any other point(s) at the moment as all their eyes are set on Real Madrid’s 3/3 wins. Barcelona have also won 3/3 of their last head-to-head meetings with Valencia.
~GOOD LUCK~
