1. Lyon Vs Angers – 1 (Friday)
Lyon are currently 4th placed however much they lost a game last weekend to Rennes. Lyon was affected by Morton’s red card but coming into this fixture at home, I see them using home support to beat a team they better with pedigree. Lyon have won all their last 3 head-to-head meetings with Angers.
2. Stuttgart Vs St. Pauli – U2.5 (Friday)
Here comes a very tight game on Friday Night Football given that Stuttgart is at home a very difficult place to lose from however much they have not started the season well. St. Pauli have not lost any game from their first 3 games into the season. I expect a reserved game with lots of low blocks in defense from the home side. Let go for under 2.5 goals. 4/5 of their last head-to-head have seen less than 3 goals.
3. Liverpool Vs Everton – 1 (Saturday)
Log leaders come into the Merseyside derby in an early kick off after almost winning all their first 4 games in stoppage time. This is a game they need to show they are worth leading the log. I expect some resistance from Everton but Liverpool will eventually edge them. Home Win
4. Brighton Vs Tottenham – Yes&O2.5 (Saturday)
Two offensive sides meet at Amex stadium as the league gets to match day 5. I expect and end-to-end game following Brighton’s poor start to the season. Tottenham are currently 3rd placed and I see them pushing for a win to extend their good start to the season. 5/5 of their last head-to-head meetings saw both teams score and over 2.5 goals
5. Manchester United Vs Chelsea – Yes (Saturday)
Following Man United’s poor form, I see them at least coming up to pose resistance at home against the Blues. I expect the home side to score at least a goal in attempt to get their 2nd win of the new season. Chelsea have scored in ¾ of their opening EPL games. Let us go for goal-goal.
6. Bologna Vs Genoa – Yes (Saturday)
After losing to AC Milan last week, I see Bologna coming up to try get a Win at home to try boost their Scudetto season. Genoa will also try not to lose this fixture to keep their season alive following their poor start to the new season. I see both teams scoring in attempt to at least get a point from this fixture.
7. Real Madrid Vs Espanyol – 1&O2.5 (Saturday)
Real Madrid have won all their 1st four games of the 2025/26 season and are comfortably leading the La Liga table with a 100% record. I see Real Madrid comfortably winning this one basing on their current form.
8. Arsenal Vs Man City – O2.5 (Sunday)
Here we come at the Emirates as the Gunners currently sitting 2nd on the log come as favorites against the Citizens who occupy the 8th spot following their poor start to the new season. I expect an end-to-end game with both sides wanting to go away with 3 points. Both their meetings last season saw a total of 10 goals with each making Over 3.5 goals.
9. Marseille Vs PSG – 2&O2.5 (Sunday)
Marseille have only won 2/4 opening fixtures whereas their counter parts PSG have a 100% record from the opening 4 French Ligue 1 fixtures. I expect an end-to-end game since the only wins Marseille have this season were all achieved at home. I expect them to score but PSG will win. All this results to O2.5 goals.
10. PSG Vs Ajax – O2.5 (Sunday)
At Phillip Stadion in Eindhoven, 2nd placed PSV host 3rd placed Ajax with just a point separating the two sides. I see an end-to-end game with plenty of open spaces given that both sides fancy playing the ball from the back as they open the opponent’s spaces upfront. Expect goals, let us go for goals to be safer in this game.
