1. Aston Villa Vs Sheffield United – 1&O1.5 (Friday)
At Villa Park, currently 3rd placed Aston Villa host 20th placed Sheffield United as the host’s race for Champions League qualification safety continues. Villa are just a point behind Arsenal and a win today will see them top the league. There is no way Sheffield will stop high flying Villa that have not lost a game in their last 6 games.
2. Man City Vs Fluminense – 1 (Friday)
It is the final of Club World Cup a competition founded 23 years ago. Man City from England won the UEFA Champions league and Fluminense won the Copa Libertadores. Both sides have never met but basing on pedigree and player quality, I see Man City coming out as victors in regular time today.
3. West Ham Vs Manchester United – O2.5 (Saturday)
West Ham are currently 8th placed and at London stadium they host 7th placed Man United who really exhibited an average performance in their 0:0 against Liverpool. I anticipate an end to end game as both will try to attain 3 points today to increase their chances of European qualification next season. United have won 4/5 last H2H meetings. Just expect goals but those going for a win, I hardly see Manchester United winning this game.
4. Tottenham Vs Everton – Yes (Saturday)
After deducting Everton’s 10 points, they have won 4 consecutive games to move up to 16th position with 7 points out of relegation. Spurs have also won their last 2 games moving up in 5th position. I anticipate an end to end game seeing both teams at least score a goal today.
5. Liverpool Vs Arsenal – O2.5 (Saturday)
Liverpool and Arsenal are currently in great form seeing the latter lead the log as the former sits 2nd with a margin of one point separating them. I do not expect Arsenal to use a defensive approach like United since they need to extend their lead. Both sides will try to go for goals which will easily result into a minimum of 3 goals.
6. Frosinone Vs Juventus – 2 (Saturday)
Currently 13th placed, Frosinone host 2nd placed Juventus with 4 points behind log leaders Inter as the race for 2023/24 Scudetto continues. Juventus will try hard to win this game after dropping points against Genoa last weekend. 4/5 last H2H meetings have been won by Juventus.
7. Atl. Madrid Vs Sevilla – 1 (Saturday)
At Wanda Metroplitano, Atletico Madrid host diminishing Sevilla as La Liga Santander continues. Madrid are currently 3rd placed as they continue to secure their top 4 spot this season. In a bid to bring back their winning ways, I see Atl. Madrid pushing harder to win this game after drawing with Getafe in mid-week.
8. AS Roma Vs Napoli – U2.5 (Saturday)
At Stadio Olimpico, 8th placed Roma host 5th placed Napoli as the race for Scudetto continues. These are two great sides that respect each other most of the times they meet. I anticipate a very reserved game from the home side (Roma) that won’t desire to lose these 3 points following their pursuit for European qualification. Napoli have not had a good form this season compared to last season and their goal scoring rate decreased. 4/5 last H2H meetings have seen U 2.5 goals.
9. Wolves Vs Chelsea – Total corners Over 9.5 (Sunday)
Just 3 points separate the 2 sides as the hosts sit in 13th position and the guests hold the 10th spot on the log. I anticipate an end to end game as both sides will be running out for the 3 points.
